And In The Middle Of No Where

We went to Warnanbool and went shopping. I got a beautiful blue top and a nice black top. we found a gorgeous sleeveless top but they didn't have my size. that was really sad. We went and looked at some furniture, and I found a bed that I loved but we didn't get it.

For lunch we went to Subway and I was served by one od Dad's ex students (AH). Even in the most unexpected places he finds SOMEONE!

After that we got in the car and started to go home. We stopped off at this antique place and looked around. I found this amazing pair of earrings (and they came with backs!) but I wasn't allowed to get them. We drove homeward for a bit longer but dad (who was driving) stopped in Port Fairy and got some ice-cream. I had Turkish delight flavored, dad had honey comb whilst mum and mim had chocolate. It was SO tasty.

We kept on driving home. we took this little country route . All of a sudden we heard this shredding noise. Dad pulled over (one lane road) and checked it out. A belt in the the car had partially shredded and we had to call the RACV and several car went past us with out stopping (mean). Some cows and bulls came up to ther fence and checked us out. It was past 6pm before we got the car on a trailer and got it to Heywood where we could get a lift home. the man who gave us the lift home was really nice. wefinally got home and dad whipped up a pasta dish in 20 mins.

After that meal i was so tired so I went straight to bed!

Back in India - NO

First of all I'd like to say sorry that my last post was ages ago but I have found something to post about. This probably should have been posted weeks ago when it was happening, so sorry!

The doctor at Penshurst (Dr. J) had his son come over to Australia from India with his wife. So mum took me to the hospital because it was a pupil free day, so both my parents were working. I went along to see what the hospital (and Penshurst) looked like.

After a while, Dr. J invited me to his place for lunch with his wife. His son, Dhruv would be coming later. So I had lunch, which was amazing curry. Then when we had finished, Dhruv arrived. We introduced each other.

When we got back to Pehshurst, Dhruv and I walked around town. Since Penshurst is a small town it was very quiet with the occasional car. We went and got a milkshake and before I knew it, it was time to go back.

After this I went over to Dhruv's place several times after school, I was his only friend in Australia. After about a week or 2, Dhruv had to go back to India. We are still very good friends and I am hoping he will return to Australia soon!

Another truck !?!

Yes well, remember the pigs, well this time it's fuel. Another truck rolled and I actually saw it lying on it's side. Dad recons that the truck with the pigs and the truck with the fuel should have happened together, they could have had an SES BBQ. Yes well, that's it until tomorrow!

Next entry; SHEEPVENTION!

What the Newspaper Read - The Great Escape

This is true, It was posted in Saturday's (today) paper;

A band of pigs are on the loose in Hamilton. The police are still trying to account for up to 400 pigs, which escaped from their abattoir bound truck that tipped at the Coleraine Rd roundabout Thursday night. The truck , headed for Millicent Abattoir, lost control about 7:40pm loosing it's load of pigs, which quickly took over the streets and people's gardens. While many pigs on board cheated an early death, 60 were killed or put down as a result of their injuries. Neighboring residents and passers by helped the emergency personnel round up the squealing pigs. Passer-by Tod Neeson said many people tried to help but others where put off by the sickening squealing."People where just watching and the pigs were covered in blood ..... they were making a horrible noise too." Mr Neeson said. The 18 year old truck driver was taken to hospital with a suspected dislocated shoulder and other minor injuries. He was released yesterday. Senior Constable Heath Cay said the accident was believed to be a mix of inexperience, bad conditions and possibly 'a bit of speed'. "He is under investigation at this stage" Sen Const Cay said. The surviving pigs were captured and loaded into another truck to continue their journey. It is unknown how many pigs were unaccounted for, but so far no official reports of pigs in gardens have been made. However Melbourne and local radio stations were inundated with reports of pigs in yards early yesterday morning. When police arrived there were around 100 onlookers rounding up the pigs, sparking mixed reaction from the police. Sergent Paul Goodwin of the Hamilton police station thanked all the emergency services and members of the public who helped out by getting the pigs off he road. "We were very impressed with the way they worked and with the elders who supplied the yards" he said.

Miss I love Needles

Today Jemima had to go to the doctors to get a needle. Since mum is a receptionist at the (tiny) medical center, she knows the doctor very well. The other day when Jemima got home she was in tears saying "the doctor didn't give me a needle today, I want a needle". So at the doctors we went into the his room and Jemima sat on the biggest chair. Jemima and I were fooling around together whilst waiting for the doctor to tend to one last patient.

The Doctor (who we call J) got the needles ready for Jemima. I really didn't like he sight of the giant needle. Mim (Jemima) was really looking forward to the needle. The doctor said to Mim "Look at Caity and I will tell you when I'm going to give you the needle". Jemima looked at me and then she said quietly"ow,ow,ow,ow,owch" and a her eyes were getting watery. Then the second needle . "No I don't want to have a needle" Mim said crying a little. She ended up laughing after the last needle.

We went into town and did a bit of shopping. Walking down the street I said to her "So do you like needles" her reply was "yep". I then said " do you want another needle she then replied "no!". After that she said "I like needles but I don't like the pointy bit", Mum and I were laughing . Mum then said "That's the whole point of a needle sweety".
